This should be a really popular series, set to be full of fireworks. Both teams enter scorching hot — the Dodgers have won eight of their last 10 ballgames, and the Rangers enter on a six-game win streak. Former Dodger lefty Andrew Heaney will take the mound for Texas Friday, while veteran right-hander Tony Gonsolin will be on the mound for LA.
I’m expecting a big-time performance from trusted veteran Mookie Betts as he faces a familiar foe in Heaney. Betts has a career .357 AVG vs. Heaney with an .828 OPS.
