What is JockMKT?
JockMKT is a fantastic new fantasy football platform that combines the financial market and sports. Bidding on a player as an IPO and getting paid out where they finish on the day. Example: “If fifth place overall is worth $20, and Tom Brady finishes with the fifth-most points, then every user holding Tom Brady receives $20 per share.” It is a fun way to try and buy low on top targets that week who have big time upside and can pay off their IPO price.
How does bidding work?
Bidding is very similar to Ebay. You enter a max bid and JockMKT will only use your max bid on players if needed. If no one competes you will get the player at their initial offering.

Five Players to Bid on in Week 10
Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Bid until top 15
Najee Harris has been a model of consistency this year, leading running backs in both snap share and weighted opportunity this season, the two greatest predictors of fantasy success. To no surprise, he has not finished outside of the top 11 at the running back position since Week 1 and now takes on a Lions defense that has allowed the fifth-most rush attempts and third-most touchdowns inside the 5 to running backs this season. He has the upside to finish as the top overall player on the slate.
A.J. Brown, WR, Tennessee Titans
Bid until top 30
In his last three games, A.J. Brown is seeing obscene volume, with 37% of his team’s targets and 64% of his team’s air yards. Now he takes on a Saints defense that is allowing 10.2 yards per attempt the last two weeks, while the Titans threw at an 8% higher clip last week with no Derrick Henry. He could go nuclear this week.
Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Bid until top 40
No Calvin Ridley again this week, which helps Cordarrelle Patterson’s upside. Patterson is averaging over 75 receiving yards per game when Ridley is out this year and has been on a tear of late. Since Week 5, he is averaging 95.7 yards per game on 16.5 touches. He leads the team in red-zone carries and is second on the team in red-zone targets. In the game with the highest total on the slate against a Cowboys team that gives up both big run and pass plays, Patterson has an elite ceiling at this price range.
Michael Carter, RB, New York Jets
Bid until top 60
This is a perfect range to take a shot on the talented running back who has been dynamic out of the backfield, averaging 9.7 yards per reception. In 1.5 games with Mike White, Michael Carter saw 23 targets, and the Jets are projected to throw the ball 40 times in this one. While Josh Johnson didn’t look Carter’s way much, the rookie did run a season-high 32 routes last week against the Colts and has seen his routes run increase in five straight games.
Marvin Jones, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Bid until top 75
The best place to attack the Colts is deep, and Marvin Jones is far and away the most qualified receiver to do it. His average depth of target is twice as high as any other Jaguar since Week 5, and he has seen 32% of the team’s air yards. The Colts secondary is allowing the second-highest deep ball completion percentage and has been destroyed on vertical routes this year.
