The Los Angeles Rams placed a first-round tender on CB Darious Williams Monday, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, essentially ensuring Williams would be back with the team for 2021.

Fantasy slant: Though overshadowed by Jalen Ramsey in the Rams secondary, Williams proved he could hold his own in 2020. Opposing wideouts managed to catch just 50% of balls thrown into his coverage, which equaled Ramsey's number. The first-round tender essentially means that another team would have to surrender a first-round pick to sign him, so Williams is all but guaranteed to stay. The Rams still have some moves to make to get under the salary cap, but keeping Williams in place means Los Angeles will retain one of the league's most formidable cornerback duos in 2021.
