NBA Best Bets of the Day (2/12)

The NBA has a small two-game early slate on Super Bowl Sunday. The first game is a much anticipated one between the Memphis Grizzlies and Boston Celtics. The second game is not as sexy, with the Pistons and Raptors squaring off.

Many of our sportsbook partners are offering some crossover props today with the NBA and NFL. I’ll leave the football side of it to what’s already been written on our site. For now, here are my best bets for today’s NBA side of the equation.

Best NBA Point Prop Bet

Pascal Siakam OVER 24.5 points

(-108 FanDuel)

Pascal Siakam is averaging 25 points per game on the season. He draws one of the best matchups in basketball against a defensively weak Detroit Pistons team. Siakam has been playing great lately with back-to-back 30 point games. He’s hoisted up 20 field-goal attempts in each and has been hitting deep shots at a higher rate while still getting himself to the free throw line. In a matchup this soft, I see no reason to think that won’t continue.

Best NBA Rebound Prop Bet

Robert Williams OVER 9.5 rebounds

(-112 FanDuel)

Robert Williams has been cleaning the glass for the Celtics recently. He’s coming off games of 15 and 16 rebounds in his last two. He’s averaged over 12 rebounds in the last five games, three times reaching double-digits. He draws a matchup against an undersized Memphis team playing without Steven Adams. The Grizzlies are athletic and can throw three or four different big men out there today, but Williams will have the size and strength advantage on whichever one they use.
