Whether it’s because of matchup or usage or anything else, these are players who should feature heavily in lineups.

Can Kyler Murray be worth the expensive price?

($39, at Jacksonville)

We are going to outline a plethora of players who are available to roster the expensive Murray, and while this could seem like an easy, chalky way to take the most expensive player, it’s not. Peep this — per the FTN Fantasy pace tool, the pace stats in this game are downright silly, with both teams locked at the top of the chart. His rapport with Rondale Moore is off the charts, and we just need Jacksonville to keep up here. Spend up and you’ll be fat and happy this weekend.

Baker Mayfield is an outstanding value this week

($22, vs Bears)

This is not simply meant to ignore that the Bears showed significant improvement against Joe Burrow and the Bengals last week, because they did. But we cannot simply forget that Matthew Stafford fired straight napalm at that defense in Week 1 and we cannot ignore how excellent he was in that contest — 20-for-26, 321 passing yards, three scores. With Jarvis Landry out but Odell Beckham expected back, Baker Mayfield could be on fire.

Pay for Dalvin Cook and don’t look back

($37, vs. Seattle)

Partially due to King Derrick Henry absolutely roasting this team last week, the Seahawks have given up the most points to opposing fantasy running backs by a country mile, per the FTN points allowed tool. It’s not close. And Dalvin Cook? OK, be a bit nervous about the ankle injury situation. But if he’s a go? He go, we go. He’s averaged 25 touches in the first two games, and I think he lights up Seattle.

Could Najee Harris finally bust out?

($19, vs Cincinnati)

There are two diametric opposites we have to come to grips with in playing Najee Harris — the offensive line for the Pittsburgh Steelers is absolutely atrocious, and Harris sees the field for nearly offensive play that the Steelers run. So which side do we roll with here? The Bengals are not the Steel Curtain, and they have consistently been torched on the ground this season. He makes for a fine value pick at running back.

Keenan Allen is underpriced this week

($26, at Kansas City Chiefs)

On Yahoo, I’m struggling to understand how Keenan Allen clocks in as the 12th-most expensive wide receiver on the site. This game has an over/under set at 55.5 points, and the Chiefs defense has gotten absolutely roasted so far for 65 points in the first two games. Allen is clearly the primary option for signal-caller Justin Herbert (24.4% target market share), and possibly playing in a negative gamescript that turns into a track meet? Yes, please.

Rondale Moore makes for a sizzling tournament option

($18, at Jacksonville)

The case of Rondale Moore certainly is a bit of a head scratcher. He plays on less than 50% of his team’s snaps (46%), which isn’t exactly a mark we overly desire. But, when he’s in there, he’s certainly making a very loud plea to head coach Kliff Kingsbury for some more time. He leads the team with 13 catches, and he should have a large role against a Jacksonville defense that’s gotten utterly roasted so far.

Noah Fant could be a slate breaker this week

($17, vs. New York Jets)

With breakout candidate Jerry Jeudy hitting IR, quite a few targets were suddenly vacated in the Teddy Bridgewater-led offense for the Broncos. Noah Fant is one guy who has picked up a large portion of that slack, posting 14 targets good for a target market share of over 20% this season. Fold in a forgiving Jets defense, and Fant makes for a nice play.
