Now, Mayfield is set to bounce back against the New York Giants in Week 12. Mayfield has looked like one of the best quarterbacks all season long with 24 touchdowns and over 2,500 passing yards through 10 games. The loss of Chris Godwin (ankle) does hurt this offense, but Mike Evans (hamstring) is expected to return this weekend. The return of Evans would be a significant boost for this offense. Fantasy managers should feel fine plugging Mayfield in as a QB1 for this weekend.

Mayfield showed heart in this game and even stiff armed his way to giving his team the lead with less than a minute left. Fantasy managers shouldn't get frustrated by this performance. Mayfield is likely to get wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) back after the bye week. The expectation is that Mayfield will resume his QB1 ways in Week 12 against the New York Giants.
