Week 4 NFL Game Previews

Detroit Lions @ Green Bay Packers

Pace: DET: 27.4 sec/snap (22nd), GB: 26.8 sec/snap (18th)

Thursday Night Football kicks off Week 4 with an NFC North showdown between the Lions and Packers. We’ll see if Aaron Jones and David Montgomery return for their respective teams.

Atlanta Falcons @ Jacksonville Jaguars

JAX -3, O/U: 43.5
Pace: ATL: 25.5 sec/snap (13th), JAX: 25.9 sec/snap (14th)

We have our first London game of the year, which is exciting because now an entirely new offense can watch the Falcons underutilize Kyle Pitts. The Falcons take on the Jaguars, who are coming off a disappointing Week 3 showing.

Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills

BUF -3, O/U 53.5
Pace: MIA: 26.1 sec/snap (16th), BUF: 29.6 sec/snap (32nd)

This could be the game of the year already, as the Dolphins travel to Buffalo. Both teams are rolling right now, and we should see plenty of fantasy fireworks.

Minnesota Vikings @ Carolina Panthers

MIN -3.5, O/U 45.5
Pace: MIN: 23.9 sec/snap (4th), CAR: 24.7 sec/snap (8th)

The Adam Thielen revenge game has arrived. The veteran wideout has been on a tear lately, but can Carolina’s banged-up defense slow down the Vikings elite passing attack?

Denver Broncos @ Chicago Bears

DEN -3.5, O/U 46
Pace: DEN: 26.3 sec/snap (19th), CHI: 25.4 sec/snap (10th)

Something’s gotta give. The Broncos just allowed 70 points last week, while the Bears are struggling to score them. This has to be the week for Justin Fields, right?

Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns

CLE -2.5, O/U 41
Pace: BAL: 26.8 sec/snap (20th), 28.5 sec/snap (29th)

Baltimore continues to deal with so many injuries, which is not good ahead of a tough matchup with Cleveland’s elite defense.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Houston Texans

PIT -3, O/U 42
Pace: PIT: 24.7 sec/snap (8th), HOU: 23.9 sec/snap (4th)

C.J. Stroud and the Houston passing attack have been one of the best stories in the early going, but now they face their toughest test in the Pittsburgh Steelers. And will Najee Harris finally get it done in a second straight favorable matchup?

Los Angeles Rams @ Indianapolis Colts

IND -1, O/U 46.5
Pace: LAR: 25.4 sec/snap (10th), IND: 20.6 sec/snap (1st)

Joe Burrow is still playing through this calf issue but did not suffer any setbacks last week. He’ll face the Titans massive pass funnel defense.

DAL -7, O/U 43
Pace: NE: 23.4 sec/snap (3rd), DAL: 27.4 sec/snap (25th)

The Cowboys are coming off a brutal loss against the Cardinals. We’ll have to keep an eye on the injury report, as they were without three starting offensive linemen last week.

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers

SF -14, O/U 44
Pace: ARI: 27.5 sec/snap (27th), SF: 29.3 sec/snap (31st)

Arizona is coming off a huge upset win over the Cowboys, but don’t expect it to happen again this weekend.

Kansas City Chiefs @ New York Jets

KC -9.5, O/U 42.5
Pace: KC: 26.8 sec/snap (21st), NYJ: 22.4 sec/snap (2nd)

The Jets offense continues to struggle with Zach Wilson under center, and now they will have to keep up with the best quarterback in all of football.

Seattle Seahawks @ New York Giants

NYG -1.5, O/U 47
Pace: SEA: 25.4 sec/snap (10th), NYG: 25.9 sec/snap (14th)

Saquon Barkley continues to recover from a high-ankle sprain — although he is listed as day-to-day, I’d consider him more questionable for Monday night.
