Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers reeled in five of eight targets for 100 yards in Week 16's 34-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He added three yards on his lone carry. The 24-year-old was quiet for most of the contest but salvaged his day late with a field-flipping 49-yard grab. It was the first time that Flowers had reached the century mark since way back in Week 9, and just the third time in that stretch he's recorded at least five receptions. Despite the boom-bust nature of his game, the second-year wideout is far and away quarterback Lamar Jackson's No. 1 target and a dynamic player when in space with the ball in his hands. The former first-round pick will get a favorable matchup in Week 17 against a Houston Texans defense that's allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers through 15 weeks (36.0).

In half-PPR formats, he hasn't scored more than nine points in any of his last three matchups. He did, however, finish as a WR2 in their last game against the Pittsburgh Steelers when he found the end zone despite catching only two throws. With Rashod Bateman (foot) and Nelson Agholor (concussion) listed as questionable, there's a chance that Flowers could be the only normal starter in the receiving corps. His volume of targets should remain high which brings his ceiling to a high-end WR2.

While Flowers did not find the end zone this afternoon, the sophomore wideout still turned in a solid fantasy output. Flowers has now seen at least seven targets in each of his past three contests. However, this was his first time tallying six receptions since Week 8. Given his role in the Baltimore passing attack, Flowers should continue to be viewed as a high-floor WR2 with a high target share. However, he has only eclipsed 20.0 PPR points three times this season. He has a tougher task ahead of him next weekend, facing the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He's seen 94 targets this year while the second-most has 55. Against the New York Giants, Flowers should still see plenty of targets, but the Ravens could go run-heavy since that's the weakest part of the defense. They allow the sixth-fewest passing yards per game and have only given up 14 touchdowns through the air all season. While Flowers usually has a solid floor, his ceiling looks to be around the WR2 territory again.

He registered 74 yards on three receptions and seven targets while getting one carry which went backwards for three yards. Flowers' biggest play of the day was a 40-yard catch-and-run on their first drive of the game which later set up a Justin Tucker field goal. After that, Flowers only had two catches for 34 yards the rest of the way. The Ravens head into their bye week before taking on the New York Giants in Week 15.
