Barkley, who ranks as the overall RB1 in fantasy football this season, solidified himself near the top of the MVP conversation with 255 rushing yards, 47 receiving yards, and two touchdowns against the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday night. This week, he gets a tougher matchup in the Ravens, who have allowed the third-fewest rushing yards and ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs in 2024. The Ravens are certainly a tougher opponent than the Rams, but Barkley has proven that he is matchup-proof and should be deployed as an elite high-end RB1 option in Week 13.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is coming off his worst fantasy performance since Week 4, but he has a beautiful chance to bounce back and get right this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. Hurts, who currently ranks as the overall QB2 and has been inside the top three during each of the last three seasons, will look to show off his arm and rushing skills in a potentially neutral game script scenario in Week 13. Furthermore, while Baltimore is viewed as an above-average offense and defense, there's actually a lot to like about Hurts' matchup. So far this season, the Ravens have allowed the most passing yards, third-most passing touchdowns, and second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Hurts should be started as a high-end QB1 in all fantasy leagues this week.

Fantasy managers should continue to pay close attention to his status throughout the weekend, as he could be a game-time decision. Smith sat out last weekend with this injury and opened the week as a non-participant in practice. He was then able to upgrade to a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. Throughout the season, Smith has shown flashes of his elite upside but has struggled to produce consistently. If he can play this weekend, fantasy managers should view him as a WR2 with upside facing a weak Baltimore secondary that has allowed the most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season. If he cannot play, A.J. Brown and Dallas Goedert could see a significant uptick in targets.

Smith appears to be making progress, but he's likely to be listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report, and he could end up being a game-time decision. That will make the decision to sit or start Smith more difficult for fantasy managers in Week 13 with Philly's game coming in the later window on Sunday. If Smith misses another game, Jahan Dotson will operate as the WR2 for the Eagles.
