Monday Night Football Plays: Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts on Monday Night Football. We have a game between two teams that are closer to the bottom of the AFC than the top.

With Jeff Saturday at the helm for the Colts, it will be interesting to see if he can spark a second-half run to get the Colts to the playoffs.

Matt Ryan Over 232.5 Passing Yards

(-115 DraftKings)

Matt Ryan was back as a starter for the Indianapolis Colts after Jeff Saturday took over. He has played just fine in the last two games. He has done enough to win one and be in a very close game against one of the best teams in the league, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Steelers will definitely try to load up the box against Jonathan Taylor. It is well known that Saturday likes to run the ball. This will create one-on-one opportunities all over the field for Ryan to throw to the likes of Michael Pittman, Parris Campbell and Alec Pierce. The Steelers defense just gave up 355 yards and four touchdowns to Joe Burrow last week. Ryan at this point in his career is not even close to the talent level of Burrow, but he doesn’t have to be to hit the yardage prop.

Alec Pierce Over 36.5 Receiving Yards

(-115 DraftKings)

Alec Pierce has had an up-and-down rookie year so far. He has been highly inconsistent in his production while dealing with some injuries. However, he has big-play ability, and the Steelers are prone to giving up big plays in the passing game. As stated above, Pierce should see a lot of one-on-one coverage in the passing game. He is averaging over 15 yards per catch this year, which is top 20 in the NFL. I would expect the Steelers to be focused on Pittman in the passing game, leaving Pierce plenty of opportunities to beat one-on-one coverage against a shaky Steelers secondary.
