After a Week 6 primetime victory over the reeling Broncos, the Los Angeles Chargers will play host to the Seattle Seahawks, who have won two of three.
The Chargers’ vaunted offense has failed to live up to the hype so far this season, but this could be a chance for them to right the ship. The Seahawks rank bottom-10 in the NFL in points per game allowed, and they’ve ceded at least 27 points in four of the last five weeks.
Ironically, the Chargers’ defense has done the same, so that explains why this game has the highest total on the slate. Geno Smith has been a welcome surprise for Seattle after they traded Russell Wilson in the offseason, and rookie running back Kenneth Walker III showed up in a big way against Arizona in his first game as the full-time starter. They’ll look to continue rolling against a defense that has largely underwhelmed after adding a few big names in free agency.
