According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, tight end Johnny Mundt has agreed to a new deal with the Vikings. The 29-year-old began his career with the Rams but spent the last two years in Minnesota. In 79 regular season games, he amassed 46 catches for 405 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, that type of production won't earn him a place on most fantasy rosters, considering his presence is more crucial as a member of the special teams unit.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr.'s 325 touches last year were third-most in the NFL for a RB, but head coach Doug Pederson said that Etienne as a workhorse back "is not the recipe" he prefers. Pederson mentioned that D'Ernest Johnson was injured in 2023, and Tank Bigsby was learning as a rookie. The head coach said he'd consider knocking some of Etienne's reps down next season in order to keep him healthy over the course of the year. All in all, the 25-year-old topped 1,000 rushing yards for the second time in his two NFL seasons, and he also improved as a pass-catcher with 58 catches for 476 yards. Etienne will remain the Jaguars' lead back and will be an RB1 target for fantasy managers, but you'll need to keep in mind that if the team has it their way, Etienne's total touches will be managed more.

Buffalo Bills impending free-agent wide receiver Gabe Davis could be pushed off the roster this offseason, according to The Athletic's Joe Buscaglia. The Bills have long been admirers of Davis' talent, but he's likely to receive the biggest contract of any Bills free agent in March, and he's already stated he intends to test the open market. He's only 25, and it wouldn't be a surprise if Davis received a deal topping what Jakobi Meyers got last offseason ($11 million APY). The hefty price tag, coupled with Davis' on-field inconsistency in 2023, is expected to push him off the roster in 2024. Davis failed to provide the big-play option opposite Stefon Diggs that Buffalo needed late in the year. He finished with seven touchdowns but disappeared more often than not and didn't even play in either of the team's two playoff games due to a knee injury.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is eligible for a contract extension this offseason after playing out the first three years of his deal, and general manager Trent Baalke said there's "no doubt" about the former first overall pick's long-term relationship with the organization. Lawrence is coming off an up-and-down season in 2023 that was marred by several injuries. He's eligible to have his fifth-year option picked up, which would be worth a projected $21.978 million. The Jaguars may not necessarily give Lawrence a long-term contract extension this offseason, but it's likely coming and will almost certainly be record-breaking. In 2023, Lawrence completed 65.6% of his passes for 4,016 yards, 21 touchdowns and 14 interceptions while losing seven fumbles. He was also sacked 35 times, 12th-most in the league. With better health in 2024, Lawrence could be primed for a bounce-back campaign.

Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke said the team will have a "heart to heart" discussion with quarterback Trevor Lawrence this offseason about whether a long-term contract extension happens now or in 2025. The Jaguars will almost certainly pick up Lawrence's fifth-year option at some point this offseason. The former first overall pick out of Clemson led the Jags to a playoff appearance in just his second season and the team was off to a fast start in 2023 before crumbling down the stretch. The 24-year-old dealt with several injuries that most likely hurt his production, but he's now thrown for 11,770 yards, 58 touchdowns and 39 interceptions in his first three seasons. Lawrence will be a midrange QB1 for fantasy managers heading into the 2024 season, and an extension is likely a matter of when, not if, for Lawrence and the Jaguars.
