As we head into Week 14 of the fantasy football season, lineups need to be set, and with that comes some tough decisions. We’re coming down the home stretch of the NFL regular season, which means the stakes are even higher with the playoffs around the corner. As a result, this week’s start/sit decisions are that much more critical.

One of the most popular tools here at FTN is our fantasy football rankings. Each week, we bring you non-PPR, PPR and half-PPR rankings to help you win your league.

Throughout the season, I will break down what players our FTN rankers prefer more (or less) than the expert consensus rankings at FantasyPros. For this article, I will be looking at the half-PPR format.

Quarterback

QBs the FTN rankers like more than ECR

Player Team ECR Rk. FTN Rk. Difference
Ryan Tannehill TEN 20 18 2
Patrick Mahomes KC 3 2 1
Tyler Huntley BAL 16 15 1
Tom Brady TB 17 16 1

QBs the FTN rankers like less than ECR

Player Team ECR Rk. FTN Rk. Difference
Daniel Jones NYG 15 17 -2
Mac Jones NE 18 20 -2
Josh Allen BUF 2 3 -1
  • This week the ECR and FTN are fairly aligned throughout the entire quarterback ranks.
  • Ryan Tannehill is a player that our FTN rankers believe is in store for a stronger game this week than the ECR.
  • On the flip side, Mac Jones is the player who our rankers have less faith in as they have him flipped with Tannehill this week.
  • Additionally, our rankers believe more in Tyler Huntley and Tom Brady this week as opposed to the ECR.
  • Also, Patrick Mahomes is a player our FTN rankers favor over Josh Allen while having them flipped compared to the ECR.

Running Back

RBs the FTN rankers like more than ECR

Player Team ECR Rk. FTN Rk. Difference
Miles Sanders PHI 13 11 2
Jeff Wilson MIA 22 20 2
Nick Chubb CLE 7 6 1
Tony Pollard DAL 9 8 1
Joe Mixon CIN 10 9 1
D’Andre Swift DET 14 13 1
Najee Harris PIT 18 17 1

RBs the FTN rankers like less than ECR

Player Team ECR Rk. FTN Rk. Difference
Raheem Mostert MIA 23 28 -5
Saquon Barkley NYG 8 10 -2
Ezekiel Elliott DAL 12 14 -2
Dalvin Cook MIN 6 7 -1
Travis Etienne JAX 11 12 -1
Isiah Pacheco KC 17 18 -1
Latavius Murray DEN 21 22 -1
  • The most significant difference in the ECR and our FTN ranks is with Raheem Mostert who we have five spots lower than the ECR and outside the top 24.
  • After that we also see our FTN rankers having both Saquon Barkley and Ezekiel Elliott two spots lower than the ECR.
  • Nick Chubb and Dalvin Cook are two players who are flipped when we compare our FTN ranks to the ECR as our rankers prefer Chubb.
  • In his return to the lineup, Joe Mixon is a player whom our rankers have one spot higher than the ECR.
  • Travis Etienne is a player our FTN rankers believe may have trouble finishing as a top-12 running back, while the ECR has him inside it.

Player Team ECR Rk. FTN Rk. Difference
Greg Dulcich DEN 8 7 1

TEs the FTN rankers like less than ECR

Player Team ECR Rk. FTN Rk. Difference
Gerald Everett LAC 7 8 -1
  • For yet another week the ECR and our FTN rankers are fairly aligned inside the top 15.
  • However, Gerald Everett is a player our rankers are a bit lower on than the ECR as we have him flipped with Greg Dulcich
