Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta caught all three of his targets for 14 yards and a touchdown in the NFC Wild Card win over the Los Angeles Rams. The rookie was questionable to play on Sunday due to a knee injury he suffered in Week 18, but he ultimately gutted it out and proved to be a difference-maker by securing a touchdown reception on fourth down. LaPorta played 80% of the team's snaps and wasn't a target hog like usual, but his contributions obviously loomed large in the end. Next week, he'll face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Philadelphia Eagles. Tampa Bay allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends during the regular season, while Philadelphia allowed the 13th-most. Either way, LaPorta will have upside, and he'll get a full week to heal up further before taking the field next weekend.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown caught seven of his nine targets for 110 yards in the NFC Wild Card victory over the Los Angeles Rams. It was the third-year pro's playoff debut, and he remained a consistent and reliable pass-catcher for quarterback Jared Goff. The 2023 First-Team All-Pro totaled at least 100 yards in nine of his 16 games this year, so by no surprise, he took advantage of the favorable matchup against the Rams. Next week, he'll face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Philadelphia Eagles at home. Both teams were bottom-ten defenses against fantasy wideouts during the regular season, so St. Brown should be in for another big day in the Divisional Round.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs rushed eight times for 25 yards and caught all four of his targets for 43 yards in the Wild Card victory over the Los Angeles Rams. Although it wasn't the rookie's best rushing performance, he provided a spark as a pass-catcher and helped the Lions move the chains when it mattered. He continued to share work with David Montgomery, and both backs totaled exactly 68 yards. Next week, Detroit will host either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Philadelphia Eagles. Both teams were strong against fantasy running backs in the regular season, but Gibbs' pass-catching upside combined with the Lions' elite offensive line will continue to make the speedster an attractive fantasy and DFS play.

Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery rushed 14 times for 57 yards and caught his lone target for 11 yards in the 24-23 win over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Wild Card contest. The 26-year-old found the end zone in 11 of his 14 games during the regular season, and his good fortune continued in the postseason. The Lions are onto the Divisional Round for the first time in over 30 years and will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Philadelphia Eagles in Detroit next week. Both teams were strong against fantasy running backs in the regular season, but the Lions running backs have been matchup-proof so far this year.

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff completed 22 of his 27 passing attempts for 277 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions in the 24-23 win over the Los Angeles Rams. The former No. 1 overall pick by L.A. led the Lions to three straight 75-yard touchdown drives to begin the game. Although the offense stalled in the second half, he did enough to secure the franchise's first playoff win since January of 1992. Since the Dallas Cowboys lost this weekend, the Lions will host the Philadelphia Eagles or Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Divisional Round. Both teams have struggled to stop the pass this season, so he could be in for another big day next weekend.
