The 26-year-old hasn't seen in-game action since the 2021 season during his time with the Giants. Fromm signed a Futures contract with Detroit back in January, but their recent acquisition of quarterback Kyle Allen must have eased them enough to cut ties with him.

The 25-year-old is unlikely to earn playing time anytime soon barring a slew of injuries around the NFL.
