The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quest to run their Super Bowl-winning team back took another step forward Wednesday, with the team agreeing to terms with free agent WR Antonio Brown on a one-year deal, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Brown — a seven-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All Pro — signed with the Buccaneers. He debuted in Week 9 after serving a suspension for the first half of the season and was the PPR No. 4 WR in Weeks 15-17, then scored a pair of touchdowns in the team’s Super Bowl run.

Bucs keep the band together, re-sign Antonio Brown

Fantasy slant: The Buccaneers make yet another move proving they are in full run-it-back mode. Re-signing Tom Brady’s main squeeze Brown was always a likely occurrence. After his addition to the team before Week 9, Brown saw a 20% target share and 19% share of the air yards. During those eight games, he was the WR27 in fantasy points per game (14.6, PPR). In 2021 Tampa Bay will again be hovering around the top five in neutral script passing rate, so there should be plenty of volume to support all of these pass catchers. Brown should be viewed currently as a mid to low-end WR3 this year. — Derek Brown
