The Green Bay Packers and RB Aaron Jones reportedly agreed on a four-year deal that will keep him with the team instead of testing free agency, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Aaron Jones has reached agreement with the Packers on a 4-year deal worth $48 million, including a $13 million signing bonus, @DrewJRosenhaus tells ESPN.

Jones was set to hit free agency after the team declined to franchise tag him coming off a Pro Bowl season in 2020. He’s scored a combined 30 touchdowns the last two years, topping 1,000 rushing yards and 40 receptions both seasons. He was the PPR RB5 in 2020 after finishing as the RB2 in 2019.
Jones’ return means the Green Bay backfield will have him and 2020 second-rounder A.J. Dillon, with Jamaal Williams set to leave as a free agent.
Fantasy slant: In a move most fantasy players would describe as "unwanted," the multidimensional Jones returns to Green Bay, a place where he's repeated thrived as a fantasy RB1. Dillon zealots are surely despondent, as the re-signed rusher will return to his customary 14- to 16-touch-per-game role. His productivity as a supreme tackle breaker and defender shaker remains unchanged. Oh the fruits of playing in an offense spearheaded by Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. As for Dillon, he could slide into a Jamaal Williams-like secondary role, netting roughly 10 touches per game. Again, it's not the sexiest development, but he, similar to his physical stature, will have enormous upside as a premium RB4 in 12-team leagues. — Brad Evans
