Portland Trail Blazers forward Jabari Walker (hand) is available to play ahead of Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Walker was tagged as questionable coming into this game due to a hand issue, but is feeling good enough to play now. He'll likely play an increased role with Deni Avdija (quad) remaining sidelined for the second straight game. Walker should be considered a decent low-end streaming option while Avdija is out.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija (quad) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Avdija was questionable coming into this game, but will officially miss his second straight game due to a left quad contusion. The absence of Avdija should mean more playing time for Shaedon Sharpe and Kris Murray in the rotation. Sharpe has been playing big minutes lately with 33 minutes or more in each of his last six games. He has been a solid fantasy option during that span and should continue being a viable option when playing 30-plus minutes per night.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (knee) will return from a four-game absence on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has shaken off a knee problem and makes his comeback at a good time, as Portland has lost Deni Avdija (quadriceps) for Friday's contest. Grant has been a disappointment for fantasy managers in 2024-25. Following four straight campaigns of averaging 19-plus points per game, Grant's output has dropped to 14.4 points on 37.3 percent shooting. However, he may be more productive than usual on Friday, as Portland faces a short-handed Thunder team.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija (quadriceps) will be inactive against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday. Avdija re-aggravated a quadriceps injury during Wednesday's matchup against the Boston Celtics, and Friday's game comes too soon for him to be healthy enough to stay in the lineup. The team initially listed Avdija as questionable. Jerami Grant (knee) is available to return from a four-game absence and will help make up for Avdija's loss. At the same time, Kris Murray may see a bit more playing time.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija (quad) won't return to the floor during Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics. Avdija appears to have re-aggravated his quad issue and won't be returning to this contest. He'll finish his night with 12 points, six rebounds, and two assists across 23 minutes of action. Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe figure to see increased roles for the rest of this game and possibly longer if Avdija misses more time. Both players have been viable fantasy options and could have more value going forward. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on Avdija.
