Deni Avdija Good To Go Against Minnesota

Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija (hand) will be active on Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Avidja is dealing with a hand injury, but the team has upgraded his status from questionable to available. Following an impressive spell to start the new year, Avdija has struggled in recent outings. He has netted only 15 total points over his past two appearances while notching eight rebounds with zero defensive stats. The versatile forward has averaged 11.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.0 steals in the matchup against Minnesota this season.

Deni Avdija Will Face The Bulls

Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija (ankle) will suit up on Sunday versus Chicago. He missed the last three games because of a sprained ankle. Fortunately, Jerami Grant recently returned from a lengthy stint on the shelf, so he filled the void in the lineup. With that said, head coach Chauncey Billups is looking for more efficiency on the defensive side of the ball, meaning Avdija will start alongside Grant, with Shaedon Sharpe heading back to the bench. While Avdija is already a capable fantasy producer, his ceiling was raised even more after the team announced that Anfernee Simons (elbow) won't suit up.

Deni Avdija Ruled Out For Saturday

Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets. This now marks the third game in a row that Avdija will be forced to miss due to an ankle injury. When healthy, Avdija has been a solid contributor, especially in this month, but he'll miss at least one more game due to an ankle sprain. Scoot Henderson has been playing increased minutes lately with the Blazers banged up. Fellow forward Jerami Grant (face) is a game-time decision for this game. If active, Grant is likely to absorb more playing time which would give Henderson less streaming appeal. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update before tip-off.
