Anfernee Simons Good To Go On Saturday

Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (arm) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Phoenix Suns. Simons fell on his arm during Friday's loss, but it seems like it was a minor issue. Simons appears to be fine and should play his normal workload on Saturday. He put together his worst performance of the season on Friday, but has been solid outside of that. Fantasy managers should go ahead and get him back in their lineups for this one.

Anfernee Simons May Suit Up Wednesday

According to Sean Highkin of RoseGardenReport.com, head coach Chauncey Billups said Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (ankle) practiced Tuesday and could "potentially" play in Wednesday's exhibition contest against Ratiopharm Ulm. Simons has been dealing with minor ankle soreness. If he can't go on Wednesday, the 25-year-old will have another chance to suit up on Friday for Portland's final preseason game. The guard could significantly impact fantasy this season after coming off a strong 2023-24 campaign, averaging 22.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 5.5 assists across just 46 games. His season was limited due to ankle and knee injuries.

Anfernee Simons Ruled Out For Friday

Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Washington Wizards. Simons will miss his seventh consecutive game thanks to his left knee still limiting him. Portland's season ending in disappointment could see them be cautious and sit down Simons for the final week, but he certainly made a mark when he played. Simons is averaging a career-high 22.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 3.4 three-pointers made per game this season. The absence of Simons will allow overlooked names like Rayan Rupert and Dalano Banton to continue impressing with the extra minutes.
