Portland Trail Blazers guard/forward Matisse Thybulle (ankle) is ready for his season debut on Wednesday against the New York Knicks. The defensive specialist has faced tough luck with injuries in the 2024-25 season, undergoing a knee procedure and suffering a Grade 2 right ankle sprain. Thybulle is not expected to take on a major role for the Trail Blazers, but his defensive ability could be a big asset for the team in certain situations. During his five years in the league, Thybulle has averaged 1.5 steals per game while earning two NBA All-Defensive Second Team selections.

Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III (knee) will be active on Wednesday against the New York Knicks after being cleared to return from a 10-game absence. Williams III has recovered from a left knee sprain and will provide much-needed depth at the center position, especially with Deandre Ayton (calf) still out of the lineup. As a result of Williams III's return, Duop Reath could drop out of the rotation.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (knee) will not play in Wednesday's matchup against the New York Knicks. He has been downgraded from doubtful to out. This will be Grant's second consecutive absence due to a right knee tendinitis. When Grant exited the lineup on Monday against the Golden State Warriors, Deni Avdija filled his spot in the starting lineup and took on a huge workload, logging 41 minutes. Jabari Walker will help fill Grant's minutes off the bench, while the addition of Matisse Thybulle (ankle) to the rotation will also compensate for Grant's loss.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Grant will head to the sideline due to a knee issue after returning to the court on Friday after missing the previous four games. Well, the Blazers got two games out of Grant before got injured again. Luckily, Deni Avdija (quad) has been cleared to play, so he figures to absorb more playing time. Both Avdija and Jabari Walker figure to be decent streaming options for Monday's slate. Avdija is the better streaming option between the two, but both players are worth a look.

Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija (quad) has been cleared and is ready to return ahead of Monday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Avdija is back in action following a two-game absence due to a quad injury. Before going down, Avdija was playing fairly well, including a 30-point triple-double against the Cleveland Cavaliers. His return will likely mean less playing time for Shaedon Sharpe and Kris Murray. Fantasy managers who have Avdija rostered can get him active in their lineups.
