Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (hamstring) won't play on Wednesday against the Clippers. He was listed as doubtful since Tuesday night, so his layoff will extend to five games. It's anyone's guess when he'll be back, let alone return for Portland's rematch with Los Angeles on Friday night. Undoubtedly, Grant's absence hurts the offense, especially since he's one of the Trail Blazers top producers. But until he gets the green light to return, Toumani Camara and Jabari Walker will do their best to fill the void. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Camara and Walker aren't always reliable.

Washington Wizards forward Deni Avdija (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the visiting Kings. He's averaged a career-high 14.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists this season, so Washington has been without a vital piece of the offense. But if the 23-year-old doesn't return versus Sacramento, Corey Kispert, who had 16 points in Tuesday's loss to the Houston Rockets, remains a must-start fantasy option in all formats.

He's had the designation for a bit, missing each of the last four games. Anfernee Simons and Deandre Ayton get extra offensive possessions without Grant, while Kris Murray and Toumani Camara have a chance to play a bigger part in the rotation. The latter two are struggling for consistency, and things could be even more complicated for them on Wednesday against a good defensive team.

Charlotte Hornets guard Bryce McGowens (knee) won't be available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Orlando Magic. This marks the sixth game in a row that McGowens has missed due to swelling his in right knee. The absence of McGowens should open up additional playing time for Davis Bertans in the rotation. Bertans doesn't offer great upside outside of 3-pointers, so most fantasy managers can stay away. There should be better streaming options available for Tuesday's slate.

Washington Wizards forward Deni Avdija (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's game against the Houston Rockets. This doesn't come as shocking news after Avdija was a late scratch ahead of Sunday's contest. His absence opened up a spot for Corey Kispert in the starting five on Sunday. He didn't play well during that game, but Kispert is worth a look as a streaming option while Avdija is out.
