Matisse Thybulle Uncertain To Play Friday

Portland Trail Blazers guard Matisse Thybulle (ankle) has received a questionable tag ahead of their matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday. He's been unable to play a full game over the team's last three games, so if he does return, it's unclear how many minutes he'll receive right away. They're dealing with a lot of injuries at the moment though, so Thybulle could be a decent streaming option in deeper leagues, but Anfernee Simons and Scoot Henderson should get most of the minutes in the backcourt. If he's unable to suit up again, Kris Murray, Toumani Camara, and Dalano Banton will all see a large chunk of minutes.

Deandre Ayton Now Questionable Against Clippers

Portland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton (elbow) is a late addition to the injury report and was listed as questionable with left elbow tendinitis. He wasn't on the injury report at all until the team's official account announced he was added right before the 4:30 PM reports came out. Since the team isn't competing for much and with how late this injury addition was, it doesn't seem very likely that he's going to suit up in this game. Ayton is should be started if he does play, but if he watches from the sidelines, Duop Reath would take over in the starting five while Moses Brown gets some added minutes off of the bench.

Anfernee Simons Considered Probable On Friday

Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons (knee) has been listed as probable on Friday and should suit up against the Los Angeles Clippers. After missing the first couple of months of the season, Simons has luckily been quite healthy the rest of the way. He's only missed six games since early December and he should get plenty of opportunities on Friday with most of the roster still injured at the moment. He'll be starting alongside Scoot Henderson in the backcourt, while Dalano Banton shifts back to the bench and should be the first reserve guard in the game.

Jerami Grant Expected To Miss Another Game Friday

Portland Trail Blazers forward Jerami Grant (hamstring) still isn't up to the standard of health that the team would like to see and he's listed as doubtful for their matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. This is going to be Grant's sixth consecutive game missed and his 16th missed game of the season. He's on pace to log his fourth consecutive season where he failed to reach 65 or more appearances. Especially for tanking sake, the Blazers aren't likely to push anyone back on the court this year. While he's sidelined, Kris Murray and Toumani Camara both remain the best streaming options.

Deni Avdija Available Thursday

Washington Wizards forward Deni Avdija (knee) is available for Thursday's game against the Sacramento Kings. A right knee contusion cost Avdija Washington's prior three outings, but the fourth-year forward is cleared to play on Thursday. Avdija has reached double scoring figures in each of his last eight appearances, averaging 16.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.0 three-pointers over this period. A 237.5-point implied total matches the highest figure on Thursday's seven-game slate, which should give the 23-year-old playmaker plenty of opportunities to rack up counting stats for a Wizards club missing starting point guard Tyus Jones (back).
