Cason Wallace Won't Play Against Trail Blazers

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Cason Wallace (knee) will come out of the lineup on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has been ruled out for the contest due to a right knee contusion. Wallace will join Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (rest), Jalen Williams (wrist), Luguentz Dort (knee), and Isaiah Hartenstein (nose) on the shelf. The lengthy list of absentees will create opportunities for Alex Caruso, Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins, and Jaylin Williams. Meanwhile, Chet Holmgren (lower leg) could be the only regular starter in the lineup, although he is listed as questionable for the game.

Tari Eason Returns To Starting Lineup Thursday

Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason will rejoin the starting lineup on Thursday against the New Orleans Pelicans. He will take the place of Jabari Smith Jr., who is coming off a couple of quiet performances as a starter. Despite moving to the bench on Tuesday against the Indiana Pacers, Eason recorded an impressive double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. He has averaged 13.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 2.2 steals in six starts this season. Amen Thompson, Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, and Alperen Sengun complete Houston's starting lineup against the Pelicans.

Santi Aldama Tagged As Questionable On Friday

Memphis Grizzlies forward Santi Aldama (calf) has a chance to return from a two-game absence after being listed as questionable for Friday's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. The 24-year-old has been dealing with a calf strain after dropping a double-double on March 1 against the San Antonio Spurs. Over those couple of games that Aldama missed, Vince Williams Jr. and Brandon Clarke saw some added opportunities. Williams joined the starting lineup and posted 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, and one steal against the Thunder. Clarke, on the other hand, registered 13 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Both can be considered strong streaming options.

Josh Green Listed As Probable Against Cavaliers

Charlotte Hornets forward Josh Green (illness) appeared on the injury report for Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers as probable while he deals with an illness. The 24-year-old missed the last game on Wednesday, so it seems he's getting to the other side of this sickness. Through 55 games (54 starts), he's averaging 7.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Even with the long list of injuries, Green hasn't been much of a fantasy-relevant player outside of extremely deep leagues.

Mark Williams Out Friday For Injury Management

Charlotte Hornets center Mark Williams (foot) will miss the front half of a back-to-back on Friday due to injury management on his foot. Williams hasn't played both games of a back-to-back all season, so sitting out against the Cleveland Cavaliers means he should be back in the lineup against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday. Jusuf Nurkic (back) is considered probable, so he'd be the best streaming option for fantasy managers looking for big man stats. Otherwise, Moussa Diabate could see some minutes off of the bench for those in deeper leagues. He posted six points, four rebounds, one assist, and one block across 12 minutes in their last game.
