Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports that Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford(knee) is progressing in his recovery and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. Gafford was diagnosed with a Grade 3 right MCL sprain in mid-February and was initially expected to miss at least six weeks. Barring any setbacks, it looks as though the 26-year-old could be back in the Mavs rotation at the beginning of April. Dwight Powell will likely continue to start at the center, with 21-year-old big man Dereck Lively II ( ankle) also still on the self.

According to Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News, Dallas Mavericks centerAnthony Davis (adductor) has been cleared for more on-court movements. He is set to be evaluated weekly by the Mavericks moving forward. Davis suffered a left adductor strain on February 8th during his first game in a Mavs uniform. If the 31-year-old can return this season, his veteran presence will boost his reeling club and the former Lakers center will make a massive impact in fantasy, as he has done throughout his career.

Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports that Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (ankle) has progressed to individual court work after a recent re-evaluation. The 21-year-old will be re-evaluated weekly, but there is no official timetable for his return. Lively has been out of action since Jan. 4. With centers Anthony Davis(adductor) and Daniel Gafford(knee)still out, Lively could see plenty of extra minutes and scoring opportunities if he can return to the club's lineup sooner rather than later.

Dallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum (foot) will return from a one-game absence on Friday versus the Memphis Grizzlies. The Australian has shaken off a right foot contusion, with the team upgrading Exum's status from questionable to available. Dallas has a host of players missing, so it's not unreasonable to think that Exum can make a significant impact in Friday's game. In his most recent appearance, Exum was a starter, though he had a tough time in a 122-98 loss to the Sacramento Kings, shooting 2-for-10 from the field and finishing with five points and four assists while committing four turnovers.

On Friday, New York Knicks centerMitchell Robinson(ankle) is unavailable against the Los Angeles Clippers. Thursday night, Robinson played 13 minutes off the bench in an overtime loss to the Lakers. He recently returned to action after recovering from an off-season ankle procedure. Holding the 26-year-old out of action likely shows the Knicks' being cautious as they are on the second leg of a back-to-back set. While Robinson is sidelined, Precious Achiuwa(hamstring) will likely see an expanded role this evening if he's cleared to play.
