Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (back) will play on Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns. Troubled by back spasms, Sengun logged only three minutes on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors, and the team initially listed him as questionable for Wednesday's matchup. On Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks, Sengun recorded his fourth 30-point game of the season, and his recent performances include a 20-20 outing, showing that the Turkish big man has been in good form overall lately.

Houston Rockets point guard Fred VanVleet (ankle) is poised to rejoin the lineup after the upcoming All-Star break. "He's on track as far as that and the plan is to have him back after the All-Star break," Rockets head coach Ime Udoka told reporters on Tuesday. VanVleet has missed five games and will be sidelined for at least two more, as Houston is set to play out a back-to-back set on Wednesday and Thursday. During VanVleet's absence, Aaron Holiday has received a pair of starts, while rookie Reed Sheppard has joined the rotation. Neither player has contributed much from a fantasy perspective.

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (back) has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Suns. The versatile big man was limited to only three minutes due to back spasms against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. He is reportedly feeling better and will test out his back on Wednesday to decide if he can play against the Suns. Sengun also missed some time at the beginning of the month, with Steven Adams stepping in for him in the starting lineup. Adams averaged 11.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks as a starter. Jock Landale and Jeff Green might get a little more playing time as well if Sengun is unable to play on Wednesday night.

Houston Rockets guard Fred VanVleet (ankle) isn't available for Sunday's clash with the Toronto Raptors. He injured his right ankle during the February 1 encounter against the Brooklyn Nets. As a result, the 30-year-old has missed the last four games. Without him, Amen Thompson should continue to handle most of the duties at the one spot, giving him a bump in usage and production. Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green should also see more scoring chances without VanVleet on the floor, with Cam Whitmore, coming off a seven-point, four-rebound effort in Saturday's loss to Dallas, remaining more involved from off the bench.

Houston Rockets guard Fred VanVleet (ankle) won't play on Saturday against the Mavericks. He tweaked his ankle during a meeting with the Brooklyn Nets on February 1 and has missed the last three games. As a result, Amen Thompson has been handling things at the one spot, so he should continue to see an increase in usage. The same can be said for Jalen Green, who had 28 points in Thursday's loss to the Timberwolves. Tari Eason could remain in the starting lineup, with Cam Whitmore getting the most minutes from off the bench. Whitmore has combined for 52 points in the last three games and remains an appealing streaming option while VanVleet remains on the shelf.
