Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (knee) is considered questionable for Wednesday's NBA Cup matchup against Golden State. He's dealing with a sore left knee and might be out for the first time this season. With backup center Steven Adams (knee) also questionable for the contest, Houston's frontcourt could be very thin against the Warriors. Jabari Smith Jr. and Jock Landale will handle the center minutes if Sengun and Adams aren't available. It's a good matchup for centers, as Golden State allows the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing fives.

Houston Rockets point guard Fred VanVleet (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Clippers. He will miss his second game of the season. Amen Thompson replaced VanVleet in the first unit when he was out on Nov. 11 versus Washington, and the same will happen in Sunday's game. Thompson went close to a double-double against the Wizards and had a whopping four steals and four blocks. He's a very versatile player, and the starting role will only add to his fantasy value.

Houston Rockets guard Fred VanVleet (knee) is active and starting on Thursday night against the Golden State Warriors. VanVleet is dealing with a right knee contusion but hasn't missed any time because of it. The 30-year-old has averaged 16.1 PPG and 5.9 APG this season, putting up 11 points and five assists in their previous matchup against the Warriors. With Golden State reeling as of late, this could be a solid spot for VanVleet to have a good game. He's a must start in all fantasy formats.

Houston Rockets center Steven Adams (knee) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. This is good news as Adams appears to be ready to return to the court after missing each of the last two games. He figures to continue serving as the primary backup center to Alperen Sengun. Adams has been extremely quiet in a minor role with the Rockets this season. He can be avoided for fantasy purposes right now.

Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green (illness) will suit up ahead of Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Green was tagged as questionable coming into the game due to an illness. He was able to get through shootaround without any issues and should have his normal workload on Tuesday. Green will look to bounce back after posting a rough 10-point outing during his last game. Fantasy managers should go ahead and get him back in their lineups ahead of tip-off.
