If forced to miss tonight's game it would be the first game he's missed all season. The 28-year-old is averaging 11.4 PPG and 4.0 RPG this season. His moderate offensive production won't be what's missed most, though, as Brooks' defensive presence will be the glaring issue for Houston if absent. Houston holds a 104.5 defensive rating with Brooks on the court and a 124.9 defensive rating with him off. If Brooks is unable to suit up, expect Amen Thompson to be inserted into the starting lineup with fellow forward Tari Eason also listed as questionable for tonight. Thompson is averaging 10.0 PPG and 5.9 RPG while the Rockets hold a 110.4 defensive rating with him on the floor, making him a suitable defensive replacement for Brooks.

Houston Rockets center Steven Adams (knee) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the New York Knicks. The team has been cautious with his return following right knee surgery, but he has seen action in two games thus far. In those appearances, the 31-year-old has averaged just 12.0 minutes, contributing 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. Adams is expected to offer depth behind star center Alperen Sengun when fully integrated into the rotation.

Adams made his Houston debut earlier in the week with a six-point, three-rebound effort across 14 minutes against San Antonio. He will struggle to put up meaningful fantasy production as Alperen Sengun's backup. As a result of Adams' return, Jock Landale is in danger of dropping out of the rotation.

He missed all of last season while recovering from a knee injury, then suffered a setback at the beginning of this season with a calf injury. He'd likely slot in as the backup center and could even be on a minutes restriction if he does play. Otherwise, Jock Landale should remain as the backup center.
