Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (lower leg) is listed as doubtful on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Denver Nuggets. The 23-year-old has not played since Dec. 14 and is expected to miss his 13th consecutive game. His timetable to return isn't clear, but his next chance to play will be against the Kings. On Wednesday, if Eason is sidelined again, we should see more of Cam Whitmore and Jae'Sean Tate.

Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (lower leg) will remain absent on Monday against Memphis. He will sit out a 12th consecutive game for lower leg injury management purposes. Eason enjoyed a strong start to the season but has now missed a month of action. It's unclear when he will be available to return, as the team has kept him on the injury report with a doubtful tag for some time. Eason's absence opens up more playing opportunities for Cam Whitmore and Jae'Sean Tate, but the two lack consistency.

Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (lower leg) is listed as doubtful for Monday's game against Memphis. The 23-year-old hasn't played since Dec. 14 and is not expected to return to the lineup on Monday as Eason continues to manage a left lower leg injury. Cam Whitmore and Jae'Sean Tate have enjoyed expanded roles during Eason's absence. As a talented scorer, Whitmore has more fantasy appeal, but he tends to blow hot and cold.

Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the Hawks. The 23-year-old has missed the last 11 games. Head coach Ime Udoka recently indicated Eason was close to returning to the court. However, Udoka added that the team wanted to remain cautious, especially at this point in the year. With Jabari Smith Jr. (hand) on the shelf, there should continue to be minutes and scoring opportunities up for grabs. While Fred VanVleet, Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, and Amen Thompson should continue to lead the way on the offensive end, Cam Whitmore, averaging 12.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in January, is worth streaming in most fantasy formats.

Houston Rockets power forward Tari Eason (lower leg) is considered doubtful for Thursday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Tuesday's injury report listed Eason as doubtful with both the left-leg issue and an illness, while Thursday's report mentions only the leg. Eason last played on Saturday, December 14, in an Emirates NBA Cup 2024 semifinal loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Since then, Eason has missed 10 straight games. Eason had surgery on the leg last March. Cam Whitmore and Jae'Sean Tate have taken on more shifts in the rotation during Eason's absence. The Rockets say they are continuing to evaluate him on a day-to-day basis.
