Dallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum (wrist) suffered a fractured left wrist during Friday's loss to the Houston Rockets. He will be sidelined for at least a month, with the team providing updates when available. The 29-year-old missed three months to begin the 2024-25 campaign because of a wrist injury before returning at the end of January. When healthy, Exum had played well, averaging a career-high 9.1 points and shooting 44.7% from behind the arc. With Kyrie Irving (knee) ruled out for the rest of the season, Spencer Dinwiddie, Brandon Williams, and Max Christie should split time in the backcourt. At any rate, there's a chance Exum, who will be a free agent this summer, may not be back on the floor for any team until next season, considering Dallas is barely holding on to the final Play-In spot.

Dallas Mavericks guardDante Exum(hamstring) will suit up against the Houston Rockets on Friday. Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News reports that Exum has been dealing with right hamstring tightness and will be restricted to 20-to-25 minutes for Friday's matchup. The 29-year-old is averaging 9.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 19.8 minutes across 17 games. Exum could be a solid fantasy contributor once his minutes are increased moving forward due to a Mavs roster filled with injuries.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) will miss Friday's contest against the Houston Rockets. He has been ruled out for a seventh consecutive game as Washington continues to nurse an ankle sprain. His next chance to return will come on Sunday in a matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. Due to Washington's absence on Friday, Kessler Edwards and Dwight Powell will likely continue to receive additional playing time. Edwards has been a good streaming option for fantasy managers lately, averaging 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steals over the past four games.

Dallas Mavericks point guardBrandon Williams(hamstring) will play against the Houston Rockets on Friday. Williams missed Monday's game in San Antonio due to left hamstring tightness. However, Friday's contest will be the second consecutive game he's played in. An injury-riddled roster has made Williams a key piece to the Mavs rotation. He's posted averages of 19.3 points, 6.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals across 30.0 minutes per contest in his last four outings.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Houston Rockets. Washington has missed the last six games and is in danger of missing another contest due to an ankle injury. His absence has resulted in Naji Marshall and Kessler Edwards seeing more playing time in the rotation. Marshall has been on a hot streak recently and is worth rostering in most 12-team formats right now. Edwards is worth a look as well, but is more of a low-end streaming choice. Both players would likely lose value if Washington is upgraded to available for this contest.
