Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (knee) won't play on Wednesday versus the Chicago Bulls. The 26-year-old logged 35 minutes in Monday's loss to the Pacers. Unfortunately, he was observed favoring his right leg late in the contest. There's a chance his absence may extend beyond Wednesday night. If that's the case, it would be a tough blow for the Mavericks. With Dereck Lively II (shoulder) questionable and Maxi Kleber (hamstring) out, Naji Marshall, who had 20 points in 34 minutes versus Indiana, could be in line for more action.

Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis has been playing through a foot injury early in the season. He aggravated the injury in Monday's 115-103 loss to Detroit. "I'll talk to my trainer and just kind of figure out what exactly is going on," Davis told reporters after the game. "I've been managing it since this summer, honestly, and my goal for every game is to be on the floor. And I just kind of landed directly on the spot that's been killing me. So, we'll figure it out." Despite the injury, Davis has been crushing it with the Lakers, averaging a league-high 32.6 points with 11.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.7 blocks, and 1.6 steals. Davis is considered day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's matchup against Memphis. Jaxson Hayes could be in line for a big boost in playing time if Davis is unavailable.

Jovan Buha from The Athletic has reported that center Anthony Davis (hip) will be available for Monday's matchup with the Pistons. As anticipated, he has been upgraded from probable to available status and will carry on playing despite experiencing right-hip soreness. This issue hasn't affected his performance, as he's currently averaging 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.2 blocks, and 1.8 steals over 36.0 minutes per game.

Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (hip) is listed as active for the Lakers' matchup on Monday night against the Detroit Pistons. This is the second game that Davis has appeared on the Lakers' injury report this season but neither time has resulted in him missing any games. Lakers fans and fantasy managers alike have to be thrilled with his early season production, averaging 31.8 PPG and 12.0 RPG to start the season. AD will look to continue his hot start to the season against the Pistons, who are going to be at a rest disadvantage playing on the second leg of a back-to-back. Davis is a must start in all fantasy formats on Monday.

Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (hip) will play on Friday versus Toronto. Davis' appearance on the injury report is nothing new for fantasy managers. However, he was listed as probable, so the latest update confirms what most had anticipated. The 31-year-old is having an MVP-caliber season, averaging 30.6 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 1.6 steals. Of course, fantasy managers should keep him starting. Yet, Davis may exceed production in a favorable matchup with the Raptors.
