Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) is off the injury report ahead of Wednesday's intrastate meeting with the Rockets. Irving sat out during Monday's loss to the Sacramento Kings. As a result, Jaden Hardy got the start. However, it was Spencer Dinwiddie and P.J. Washington who led the way on the scoring end, with the duo combining for 58 points. With Irving back in the mix, Dinwiddie and Washington could see a decrease in offensive opportunities. Yet, with Luka Doncic (calf), Naji Marshall (suspension), and potentially Dereck Lively II (hip) sidelined, there should be plenty of shots to go around for anyone in the starting lineup, including Quentin Grimes, who has averaged 14.2 points and 1.1 steals in 10 starts during the 2024-25 campaign.

Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (ankle) remains on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's tilt against Cleveland. He continues to nurse an ankle injury that Davis sustained on Christmas Day against Golden State. However, it appears as though the injury does not affect the star big man, as Davis posted a big 36-15-8 line in Saturday's matchup against Sacramento. The Cavaliers managed to limit him to 22 points, 13 rebounds, and two assists when the teams met for the first time this season. The returning Jaxson Hayes (ankle) will fill the center minutes with Christian Koloko if Davis ends up sitting out Tuesday's action.

Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Klay Thompson (illness) will not suit up for Monday's game against Sacramento. He's caught an illness bug, leaving the Mavericks without four regular starters for the contest. Spencer Dinwiddie, Quentin Grimes, and Jaden Hardy should all benefit from the long list of absentees. The former two have already previously provided good fantasy production. Hardy showcased his potential in the previous game against Portland, where he nailed three triples en route to finishing with 11 points and four rebounds.

Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) is dealing with some shoulder soreness and will be sidelined against the Sacramento Kings on Monday. According to ESPN's Tim McMahon, the Mavericks are trying to be careful with Irving's workload since Luka Doncic (calf) will be out for at least a month. Quentin Grimes will likely join the starting five again after posting 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in their last game. Spencer Dinwiddie remains the starting point guard and Jaden Hardy could be a sneaky streamer in deeper leagues.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington will miss Saturday's meeting with the Trail Blazers. Fortunately, he isn't injured. However, he was involved in a physical altercation in Friday's game against Phoenix, resulting in Washington, forward Naji Marshall, and Suns center Jusuf Nurkic all getting ejected and suspended. With Marshall only sidelined for only one game, the Mavs could turn to Maxi Kleber to fill the void. However, Kleber is not a reliable fantasy option, although he can have some good showings for those needing to take a risk.
