Philadelphia 76ers forward Caleb Martin (back) will not return to the lineup on Saturday against Detroit. He misses a second straight game after initially being listed as questionable for the matchup. Ricky Council IV got extra burn without Martin on Wednesday versus Houston and produced a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double. However, this came with a number of other absentees, and Philadelphia might get some help on Saturday with the return of Paul George (knee). Martin's next chance to return will come against his twin brother Cody and the Hornets on Tuesday night.

Dallas Mavericks forward Klay Thompson (ankle) remains sidelined for Saturday's meeting with the Utah Jazz. The veteran will now miss his third-consecutive contest because of a left foot injury, although it's unknown when he'll be healthy enough to return. With Luka Doncic (wrist) doubtful, fantasy managers should expect an increase in production from Kyrie Irving, Naji Marshall, and P.J. Washington.

Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (foot) will play in Wednesday's matchup with the Spurs. AD is coming off another strong performance, accumulating 25 points, 15 boards, five assists, and four blocks in Tuesday's NBA Cup loss to the Suns. He was back on the injury report because of a nagging foot issue. But, as usual, Davis is good to go. He had 40 points in the Lakers previous meeting with San Antonio a few weeks ago. While it will be tough for Davis to hit that mark again, his upside appears higher than usual.

The 26-year-old could be a solid fantasy option, as he's tallied 20-plus points in the last three games.

Marshall isn't really known as a scorer but has now tallied 20-plus points in three consecutive games. The Knicks defense hasn't been too good this season, giving Marshall a decent shot at continuing his scoring streak.
