The Mavs PR X account announced that Dallas Mavericks centerDaniel Gafford(ankle) is unavailable for Tuesday's matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. Gafford suffered a sprained ankle on Monday versus Memphis. If the 26-year-old is out for a while, Dallas will miss his aggressiveness in the paint. Gafford has averaged 11.7 points, six rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.4 blocks across 25 games this season. In the meantime, expect Maxi Kleber, Dereck Lively, and Dwight Powell to see an uptick in minutes on the court.

Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (foot) has been listed as probable for Tuesday's game against Dallas. Davis missed one game due to an ankle injury last week, but he's currently on the injury report with left plantar fasciitis, which he has carried throughout the season. The foot problem hasn't really impactEd Davis, who has sat out just two games over the course of the season and is averaging 26.0 points with 11.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.2 blocks, and 1.3 steals. Davis will face a weak Mavericks squad, which has lost several players to injuries.

Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford (ankle) is expected to miss multiple games after getting hurt in Monday's matchup against Memphis. Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd said the big man will likely be "out for some time," reports Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News. Gafford's absence will begin on Tuesday against the Lakers. Dereck Lively II is looking at extra work with Gafford out of the picture, while Dwight Powell will likely enter the rotation as the backup center. Powell is not a good fantasy asset, and managers should ignore him.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Dallas Mavericks guardKyrie Irving (back) is expected to miss at least one to two weeks due to a bulging disk in his back. Irving was already unavailable on Monday against Memphis because of an illness. His extended absence is a significant loss for the Mavs who already haveLuka Doncic(calf), missing in action. While the 32-year-old is sidelined, Spencer Dinwiddie, Quentin Grimes, and Jaden Hardy will take on most of the backcourt minutes that will be available.

Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (ankle) will be active against Houston on Sunday. Davis missed one game this week due to an ankle issue but has been upgraded from probable to available ahead of Sunday's action. The star big man came close to a 20-20 game in his last appearance against Atlanta, posting his 10th double-double in 11 outings. On Sunday, Davis faces a difficult matchup against a team that allows the sixth-fewest fantasy points in the league to opposing centers.
