Dallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum (Achilles) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Exum has been nursing an Achilles issue, so the Mavs have decided to take the cautious approach during the front end of this back-to-back set. The hope is that Exum will play on Thursday, but it wouldn't be shocking if the Mavs hold him out until after the All-Star break. His absence means that Spencer Dinwiddie, Jaden Hardy, and Naji Marshall could all see increased roles in the rotation. Between the three, Dinwiddie is the best fantasy option after dropping 20 points or more in two of his last three games.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) is questionable to suit up against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. He may be out for a second consecutive game due to a right ankle sprain. This would leave the Mavericks extremely short on healthy frontcourt bodies, as Daniel Gafford (knee) has just joined Anthony Davis (adductor), Dereck Lively II (ankle), and Dwight Powell (hip) on the shelf. Due to the lack of options, Kessler Edwards has begun logging starts, while Olivier-Maxence Prosper played 34 minutes off the bench in Monday's overtime loss to the Sacramento Kings. The latter had a decent showing with 16 points, but Prosper had been anonymous in the previous games.

Shams Charania of ESPNreports that Dallas Mavericks centerDaniel Gafford(knee) will be re-evaluated within the next two weeks after sustaining a right knee sprain in Monday's 129-128 overtime loss to Sacramento. Injuries continue to pile up for the Mavs frontcourt, with Gafford, Anthony Davis(thigh),Dereck Lively(ankle), andDwight Powell(hip) all out for the time being. Olivier-Maxence Prosper and Kylor Kelley will see more minutes on the floor while Gafford is out of action. However, neither player won't make much of an impact fantasy-wise.

Dallas Mavericks forward/center Anthony Davis (adductor) is expected to miss "multiple weeks," ESPN's Shams Charania and Tim MacMahon report. His absence may extend to even a month. Fortunately for the Mavericks, Davis was injured only a week before the All-Star break, but he is still set to miss significant time. Davis has joined Dereck Lively II (ankle) on the sidelines. On Monday against the Sacramento Kings, the frontcourt will also be missing P.J. Washington (ankle), leaving Daniel Gafford with a heavy workload.

Dallas Mavericks guard Dante Exum (Achilles) will play against the Sacramento Kings on Monday. He has shaken off a questionable tag to make his sixth consecutive appearance. Exum's season debut was delayed until Jan. 31. Since joining the lineup, he has averaged 10.0 points and 3.2 assists in 19.2 minutes. Following three consecutive starts, Exum was back on the bench on Saturday against the Houston Rockets and had a quiet four-point outing. He will aim to bounce back on Monday against a team with the 20th defensive rating in the league.
