Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Washington has played in the last two games, but he did miss three games ahead of the All-Star break due to an ankle injury. It sounds like it's something that is still bothering Washington, but he has looked fine during each of the last two games. If he sits, Naji Marshall and Olivier-Maxence Prosper would see increased playing time. Between the two, Marshall is the better streaming choice, but he's only worth a look if Washington is unable to play.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's meeting with the Warriors. The Mavericks' injury report is loaded, with Anthony Davis (adductor), Daniel Gafford (knee), and Caleb Martin (hip) all sidelined. But if Washington joins them on the shelf, Dallas may need to play even smaller than normal, meaning Kessler Edwards, who had 15 points and nine rebounds in his last start, could find himself back in the middle.

Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell (hip) will remain out of the lineup on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans. It was always unlikely he would play, as the team listed him as doubtful on the initial injury report. Powell's absence will extend to 15 games. His last appearance was on Jan. 17. The Canadian center only participated in non-contact activities during Thursday's practice, indicating he is still some way from returning. With Daniel Gafford (knee), Dereck Lively II (ankle), and Anthony Davis (adductor) also sidelined, Dallas has brought in 7-foot-2 big man Moses Brown on a 10-day contract to bolster its frontcourt depth.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) will be back on the floor on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans. An ankle sprain has kept Washington out from six of the last seven games, but he will return to action on Friday without any minutes restrictions. Washington will start as a power forward, with Kessler Edwards logging minutes at the number five position. In previous matchups against the Pelicans this season, Washington has averaged a double-double with 14.3 points and 11.3 rebounds.

Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell (hip) is nearing a return but is unlikely to be ready to play this Friday when Dallas hosts the Pelicans. Powell went through non-contact activities during practice on Thursday but was listed as doubtful on the injury report for Friday. Powell has been sidelined since January 17, but he has played limited minutes this season, averaging just 7.6 minutes in his 33 games. Despite that very limited workload, he could get extra work when available since Anthony Davis (adductor), Daniel Gafford (knee), and Dereck Lively (ankle) are all sidelined, while P.J. Washington (ankle) is questionable for Friday's contest.
