Dallas Mavericks forward/center Dwight Powell (hip) will play on Thursday versus Charlotte. He missed over a month because of a hip injury but returned for Tuesday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He logged 16 minutes, finishing with two points, five boards, and one block. Head coach Jason Kidd indicated that Powell will see only 10-12 minutes of action on Thursday, meaning the Mavs will need to play smaller than usual at times, resulting in more work for Kessler Edwards, Naji Marshall, and Olivier-Maxence Prosper. Still, nobody on the roster can be trusted outside of Kyrie Irving, who had 35 points, seven boards, three steals, and two blocks versus Los Angeles.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) won't play on Thursday versus Charlotte. The Mavs will now be down another big, with Washington joining Anthony Davis (adductor), Daniel Gafford (knee), and Dereck Lively II (ankle) on the shelf. It's also a huge blow for Dallas on the scoring end, considering the 26-year-old has averaged 14.2 points this season. Fortunately, Dwight Powell (hip) is available. However, he won't see more than 12 minutes of work. As a result, fantasy managers should expect more minutes for Kessler Edwards, Naji Marshall, and Olivier-Maxence Prosper. Still, Kyrie Irving remains the only trustworthy fantasy option on the roster at the moment.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) has been labeled questionable for Thursday's action against the Charlotte Hornets. He may miss the meeting with his former team due to a lingering ankle injury. Washington is coming off a horrible zero-point performance against the Los Angeles Lakers, so having some time off might even benefit him. If Washington is out on Thursday, Olivier-Maxence Prosper and Kessler Edwards are expected to step into more significant roles. However, their production has been inconsistent, and the duo likely won't offer much help to fantasy managers.

Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (ankle) is available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Washington has been battling an ankle issue, but will make his third straight appearance despite the injury. He has played well during the last two games, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect the ankle issue to limit him at all. This season, Washington is averaging 14.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 32 minutes per game. He'll probably be asked to do more of the heavy lifting on offense with Luka Doncic no longer in Dallas. Fantasy managers can go ahead and get Washington active in their lineups.

Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell (hip) is available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Mavs are banged up, but at least they'll get one reinforcement ahead of this game. Powell has been sidelined since mid-January due to a hip issue. That being said, Powell is likely going to be limited considering he hasn't played in over a month. Kessler Edwards figures to continue having a bigger role while Powell works his way back into the mix. Powell figures to see decent minutes once he's back up to full speed.
