Dallas Mavericks guard Jaden Hardy (ankle) will play on Saturday against Boston. He missed the last three games because of a sprained ankle. However, the 22-year-old has averaged just 8.1 points this season, so he likely won't have a spot in most fantasy lineups for the NBA Finals rematch. With Luka Doncic (calf), Naji Marshall (illness), Dereck Lively II (ankle), and Dwight Powell (hip) sidelined, there are minutes up for grabs. Still, Grimes can't be trusted for fantasy production, even with the potential for more work.

Fortunately, he's good to go for the NBA Finals rematch. Thompson has had one of the worst seasons of his career, averaging 13.6 points. He could have trouble turning things around on Saturday, considering the Celtics have allowed just 108.4 points per game, the sixth-best mark in the National Basketball Association. Still, Thompson is worthy of a spot in most fantasy lineups, especially with Luka Doncic (calf) on the shelf. His presence will likely result in Quentin Grimes heading back to the bench,

But he's not the only Maverick on the injury report, with Dereck Lively II (ankle), Naji Marshall (illness), Dwight Powell (hip), and Luka Doncic (calf) all sidelined. In addition, Jaden Hardy (ankle) is questionable. If Thompson remains on the shelf against Boston, Quentin Grimes, averaging 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 12 starts during the 2024-25 campaign, will likely continue to fill his spot in the rotation.

Dallas Mavericks guard Jaden Hardy (ankle) has been ruled out for a third straight game on Thursday when the Mavs visit the Thunder. Hardy was injured last Friday in the Mavericks' home win against Oklahoma City, and he won't make it back for this rematch. While he has been out, Spencer Dinwiddie and Quentin Grimes have been getting more playing time. Both Dinwiddie and Grimes have flashed high ceilings, but they have been very inconsistent working alongside Kyrie Irving in the backcourt while Luka Doncic (calf) continues to work his way back.

Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell (hip) will miss a third straight game for the Mavs when they visit the Thunder on Thursday night. Powell's absence is poorly timed since Dereck Lively II (ankle) is out for a while leaving Daniel Gafford to play huge minutes in the middle. Gafford has averaged 20.0 points and 11.3 rebounds over his last four games while also posting multiple blocks in each contest and averaging 3.5 blocks per game. Gafford should continue to get huge playing time at center for as long as Powell and Lively are out while Maxi Kleber fills in as the only real backup big man available.
