Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Cody Martin (knee) will miss a second straight game on Monday versus Chicago. This comes as no surprise, as Martin was listed as doubtful on the initial injury report. The Hornets also won't have the services of LaMelo Ball (ankle, wrist) and Brandon Miller (ankle), so players like Josh Green and Seth Curry will have expanded roles. The two will start the contest alongside Vasilije Micic, Miles Bridges, and Mark Williams.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) won't play against the Bulls on Monday. The 23-year-old has played great this season, averaging a career-high 30.1 points. However, he will now miss his 10th game of the 2024-25 campaign. Fortunately, the Hornets don't play again until Friday versus the Pistons, so Ball has more time to recover. But with Brandon Miller (ankle) also ruled out, Miles Bridges, Vasilije Micic, and Tidjane Salaun are the favorites to lead the way on the scoring end.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Bulls. The 23-year-old is having the best season of his career from a statistical standpoint, averaging 30.1 points with 7.4 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. However, he's missed nine of Charlotte's 31 games this season. With Brandon Miller (ankle) also not expected to suit up, Miles Bridges could continue to benefit. Vasilije Micic and Tidjane Salaun might also be worth streaming, assuming Ball and Miller are ruled out.
Charlotte Hornets center Mark Williams (thumb) will play versus OKC on Saturday night. The 23-year-old missed the start of the 2024-25 campaign due to a sore foot. But he's played well enough since returning, averaging 11.0 points and 6.3 assists. Williams might be even more productive with LaMelo Ball (wrist, ankle), Cody Martin (knee), and Brandon Miller (ankle) off the floor, although his presence will mean less work for Nick Richards.
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle, wrist) won't play on Saturday against OKC. Melo has averaged a career-high 30.1 points during the 2024-25 campaign. However, as is the norm, Ball will miss another game. With Brandon Miller (ankle) and Cody Martin (knee) also out, Miles Bridges has a good chance to lead the Hornets in scoring. There's also room for Vasilije Micic, averaging 12.6 points and 6.5 assists, to surpass his usual fantasy expectations.
