Boston Celtics forward Sam Hauser (hip) will re-enter the lineup on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans. He has been dealing with a pinched nerve in his right hip lately. Hauser offers three-point shooting off the Celtics bench and has been exceptional with his work recently. Across his last four outings, the 27-year-old has made 12 shots from deep with a 60 percent efficiency. The Pelicans allow the seventh-most three-point attempts in the league, so this looks like a very favorable matchup for Hauser and the Celtics, who take the most three-pointers.

Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (toe) will be in the lineup on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans. The 38-year-old veteran has skipped a pair of games with a toe sprain. With the Celtics currently healthy, Horford does not have a lot to offer to fantasy managers. He averaged 8.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists for the season. His scoring numbers have even dropped recently due to poor shooting. Horford has shot 40 percent or below in four of his last five appearances.

Boston Celtics forward/centerAl Horford(toe) is unavailable for Wednesday's contest against the Chicago Bulls. The veteran big man is dealing with a toe sprain and will miss his second consecutive contest. Horford was cleared to play on Monday against the Houston Rockets but was a late scratch. Luke Kornetstarted in place of Horford and finished with 18 points, seven rebounds, and one block. Derrick White(shin) is returning to the lineup, so Kornet might not start this evening.

The Boston Celtics announced forwardSam Hauser(hip) is unavailable for Wednesday's matchup with the Chicago Bulls. Hauser will be missing in action for the second straight game due to a right hip impingement. While Hauser is sidelined, Payton Pritchardwill have an expanded role coming off the bench. Pritchard posted 15 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes in Monday's 114-112 loss to the Rockets. He went 5-for-6 from three-point land in the contest. Chicago gives up the third-most three-point attempts in the league, making this an excellent opportunity for the 27-year-old sharpshooter.

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (knee) will be active on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls. He has been upgraded from questionable to available. Tatum will attempt to put together a bounce-back performance after finishing Monday's loss to the Houston Rockets with 19 points on 35.7 percent shooting. His last outing against the Bulls resulted in a 40-point triple-double, and Tatum has had success in the matchup throughout the season. He has notched 36.3 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 6.3 assists over three games against Chicago in 2024-25.
