Celtics beat reporter Bobby Krivitsky reports that Boston Celtics guard/forwardJaylen Brown (thigh) was active at the team's shootaround ahead of Friday's matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Brown was out of action during Wednesday's loss to the Pistons due to a thigh injury. However, participating in the shootaround is a good sign that the 28-year-old will be available for Friday's contest. If Brown is on the shelf, Al Horford and Sam Hauser could draw several extra minutes on the floor. Otherwise, the swingman is a must start for fantasy managers if he's available.

According to Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site, Boston Celtics forward/centerKristaps Porzingis(illness)is questionable for Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Porzingis was a late add on the team's injury report due to a non-COVID illness. The 29-year-old played against the Pistons on Wednesday after missing Tuesday's matchup with Toronto because of the illness. If the big man is unable to suit up, players like Al Horford and Neemias Queta will take extra minutes. However, neither player will likely factor into fantasy this evening.

According to Taylor Snow from the official site of the Celtics,Boston Celtics guardJrue Holiday(finger) is unavailable for Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Holiday will be out of action due to an injured finger on his right hand. Friday's contest will be the sixth he's missed in the last nine games. With Holiday sidelined, Sam HauserorPayton Pritchard must step up for the Celtics to have a successful evening since the Cavs have a tough backcourt for opposing teams to deal with.

Boston Celtics center Luke Kornet (personal) will not be in the lineup on Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors. His run of consecutive appearances will come to an end at 34 games due to personal reasons. Al Horford (toe) is questionable for the first leg of a back-to-back, which means Neemias Queta (illness) and Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee) may receive additional run-outs. They are also on the injury report but listed as probable for the contest. Queta has typically been productive when he logs at least 20 minutes in the rotation. During his last outing where Queta spent 20-plus minutes on the floor, he recorded 11 points, eight rebounds, one steal, and one block.

Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (personal) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Raptors. The veteran had only four points in Sunday's win over the New York Knicks. However, with Jrue Holiday (rest) sitting out on Tuesday, Horford will likely enter the starting lineup if he's available, meaning a bounce back performance is possible. He's averaged 9.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 29 starts this season. But if Horford doesn't suit up, either Payton Pritchard or Sam Hauser could fill the hole in the rotation.
