Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (ankle) will miss Thursday's matchup against Phoenix. He has been ruled out for the contest after Johnson re-injured his right ankle in the previous game versus the Lakers. The 22-year-old recently missed three games with a right ankle sprain. Johnson's absence means more playing time off the bench for De'Andre Hunter, who might even move into the starting unit. Hunter struggled against the Lakers but has done well lately, averaging 16.0 points for March. Vit Krejci and Garrison Mathews could get more usage as well in smaller lineups, although their contributions have been underwhelming.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Terance Mann (shoulder) is out on Wednesday against the Trail Blazers. Mann had seven points, four rebounds, and two steals in 32 minutes in the loss to the Hawks on Sunday. However, per head coach Ty Lue, he sprained his shoulder during practice on Tuesday. Until fantasy managers hear otherwise, Mann has a chance to play in the rematch with Portland on Friday. But with Norman Powell (leg) also sidelined on Wednesday, Amir Coffey will enter the starting lineup. Coffey has averaged 11.3 points in 10 starts throughout the 2023-24 campaign, making him a viable DFS value option.

Los Angeles Clippers guards Norman Powell (shin) and Terance Mann (shoulder) were both at shootaround on Wednesday morning. Mann said he is not concerned about his strained right shoulder following Sunday's dismal home loss to the Atlanta Hawks, but he remains officially listed as questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the Portland Trail Blazers. Powell is dealing with a left lower leg contusion after missing Sunday's defeat but is trending in the right direction for a revenge game against Portland. The 30-year-old sharpshooting swingman has played a more pronounced role as L.A.'s sixth man with Russell Westbrook (hand) out, hovering around fantasy's top 150 over his last eight games on averages of 16.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.6 three-pointers, and 1.0 steals in 28.8 minutes. Wednesday's matchup is a soft one against a Blazers squad that ranks 26th in opponent field-goal percentage (49.2%).

Los Angeles Clippers guard/forward Terance Mann (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's matchup against Portland. He's dealing with a right shoulder strain and could be out of the lineup for the first time since early November. Norman Powell (leg) would benefit from Mann's absence but is also questionable for the game. If both players are out, we should see Amir Coffey play a bigger part in the rotation in a favorable matchup against a struggling team.

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson re-injured his right ankle on Monday versus the Lakers. Playing in his third game since returning from a sprained ankle, Johnson was hurt in the middle of the fourth quarter when he landed on teammate Clint Capela's foot. Following a trip to the locker room, Johnson rejoined the bench area for the final few minutes but didn't re-enter the game. However, the Hawks were down big at that point, and it's possible Johnson would have been thrown back into action if the score had been competitive. His status definitely deserves monitoring ahead of the next game on Thursday versus Phoenix.
