Atlanta Hawks forward Georges Niang (illness) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Niang has seen more time on the court since being traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers at the deadline. His absence opens up additional playing time for Mouhamed Gueye and Terance Mann in the rotation. Between the two, Mann is the better streaming choice ahead of Monday's contest. Mann has scored 13 points or more in each of the last three games. The 28-year-old has also played 26 minutes or more during that span, so he figures to see more of a role during Monday's game.

The trade that recently sent him from the Cavs is still being finalized. Niang's next chance to play is on Saturday on the road versus the Wizards in Washington. The 31-year-old, across 51 games in Cleveland, averaged 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 20.6 minutes per contest. His role with his new team is uncertain, so he will likely have a limited impact on fantasy for now.

The Atlanta Hawks acquired forward Georges Niang along with Caris LeVert, three second-round picks, and two swaps in exchange for De'Andre Hunter. Hunter became expendable after the emergence of Jalen Johnson before his season-ending shoulder injury and the strong rookie showing of No. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher. Niang and LeVert could help fill in while Johnson is out, but more likely they'll mix into the second unit behind Risacher. Niang played 51 games for the Cavs this season, starting just one contest.
