Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels (illness) has been listed as active for Wednesday night's game against the Denver Nuggets. Daniels had missed the last two games with an illness but is able to suit up in Denver on Wednesday. Daniels has been a rewarding fantasy option from a defensive perspective, averaging 3.1 steals per game and 0.9 blocks with the Hawks this season. As an offensive producer, there's a bigger question mark, as he averages just 13.0 points per game. But when combined with his defensive stats, he becomes an intriguing fantasy option. With the Hawks set to play in a high-paced game in Denver and with Atlanta already missing Jalen Johnson, more opportunities may be coming Daniels' way. He's an intriguing option for Wednsday night in all fantasy formats.

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) has officially been ruled out of Wednesday night's game against the Denver Nuggets. Johnson was downgraded to questionable earlier in the day due to right shoulder soreness and won't be able to suit up tonight as a result. The 23-year-old has only missed two games this season while putting up a strong season that's put him at the forefront of the Most Improved Player award discussion. In his absence expect De'Andre Hunter to see extended minutes as well as increased usage for Dyson Daniels, who is returning to the Hawks' lineup after a two-game absence. Daniels provides a strong defensive presence and will reward fantasy owners in need of steals while Hunter is the more solid fantasy and DFS option.

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) has been added to the injury report ahead of Wednesday's matchup against Denver. He's been labeled as questionable due to right shoulder soreness. Johnson's third absence of the season could mean a larger role for De'Andre Hunter, who is among the league's most productive bench scorers. Garrison Mathews and Vit Krejci will also be expected to play more prominent roles, though they struggle to produce fantasy value consistently.

Atlanta Hawks guard/forward Dyson Daniels (illness) appears ready to rejoin the action on Wednesday versus Denver, with the team listing him as probable for the game. The NBA's steals leader has missed two games due to an illness. Vit Krejci will return to a backup role on Wednesday with Daniels active. The 21-year-old has made himself a name as a defensive specialist, but Daniels also contributes well on the offensive end. He's averaging 13.0 points for the season and has been hot from downtown lately, hitting 7-for-12 from behind the arc across his past three appearances.

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (Achilles) is probable for Wednesday's matchup against Denver. After carrying a heel contusion for a bit, Young is back on the injury report with right Achilles tendinitis. The star guard has skipped just two games all season, so he will likely be available on Wednesday, which limits Vit Krejci's and Keaton Wallace's role in the rotation. Young has averaged 26.5 points over his past six appearances, and he had only two outings in December without a double-double.
