Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (Achilles) continues to carry a probable tag on the injury report ahead of Thursday's encounter with Phoenix. It's safe to assume he will be good to go for his ninth consecutive appearance. Young is fresh off his third 20-20 game of the season, which included an incredible half-court game-winning shot against Utah. The 2024-25 campaign has been going really well for Young, who opened 2025 with a pair of 30-point outings and has averaged 26.8 points and 13.0 assists since the turn of the year.

Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young (Achilles) has been upgraded to available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Utah Jazz. Young has been cleared to play after being listed as probable coming into this game due to right Achilles tendinitis. This injury doesn't appear to be impacting Young's performance on the court. He finished with 20 points and 14 assists in 33 minutes of action during Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The expectation is that Young is going to continue playing his normal role in the rotation.

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young (Achilles) is probable for Tuesday's contest against Utah. An Achilles issue has accompanied him throughout the season, but it doesn't appear to be serious, as Young has sat out for just two games. He has also shaken off a hand contusion, which gave Young a questionable designation ahead of Saturday's game against the Clippers. It's been a big campaign for Young, who averages 22.5 points and 12.0 assists with 1.3 steals. He is in a smash spot against the Jazz, who allow the second-most fantasy points in the league to opposing point guards.

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson has been trying to play through shoulder inflammation, but he will be sidelined for Tuesday's matchup against the Jazz. It will be his second straight absence for the Hawks, and his third in the last four games. Johnson is having a breakout season, averaging 19.8 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists while shooting over 50% from the field and posting a 22.6% usage rate that ranks third on the team. The Hawks have dropped three straight, and without Johnson, they'll turn to De'Andre Hunter to pick up some extra workload while Garrison Mathews and Vit Krejci also see expanded roles. Krejci started in Johnson's spot on Saturday and produced nine points, two rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 28 minutes.

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Johnson will now miss his second game in the last three contests due to right shoulder soreness. The absence of Johnson means that both Garrison Mathews and De'Andre Hunter will see increased roles on Saturday. Hunter posted a dud his last time out, but has finished with 20 points or more in four of his last five games. The absence of Johnson should mean more minutes for Hunter which should make him a valuable streaming option for Saturday's slate.
