Westburg will take a seat after starting in each of the team's last eight games. He'll make way for Jorge Mateo at second base, while Ramon Urias starts at the hot corner. Mateo is hitting eighth and Urias is in the six-hole against Rangers right-hander Max Scherzer. Mateo is hitless in just one career at-bat against Scherzer, while Urias has never faced him. The 25-year-old has been a lineup regular for the O's this year at either second or third base, and he's hitting a useful .277/.331/.502 with an .833 OPS, 11 home runs, 42 RBI, six stolen bases and 37 runs scored in 253 at-bats in a strong Orioles lineup. He's cooled off a bit in June, though, going 15-for-64 (.234) with three homers, three doubles, two triples, eight RBI, one steal and 14 strikeouts in 16 games.

Westburg went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in the winning effort. The 25-year-old's two-run homer in the eighth inning traveled 369 feet and had an exit velocity of 101 MPH. Westburg is now hitting .280 with 10 homers, 32 runs, 38 RBI, and six steals across 218 at-bats for the O's in 2024. His power production this season has been a pleasant surprise after he hit just three homers in 208 at-bats last season as a rookie. Westburg is worth a spot in starting lineups in deeper fantasy leagues moving forward.

Westburg draws back into Baltimore's starting lineup after missing the last two games with a hand injury after he was hit by a pitch on Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox. The 25-year-old will be looking to extend his hitting streak to six games now that he's back in there. The former 30th overall pick in 2020 out of Mississippi State has gone 8-for-18 (.444) with a homer, two doubles, five RBI, two walks and five strikeouts during his modest five-game hitting streak. His lineup spot doesn't scream daily upside, but Westburg has been solid with the bat in 2024, slashing .291/.351/.508 with an .859 OPS, eight homers, 34 RBI and five swipes in a loaded Orioles lineup.
