Boston Red Sox outfielder Tyler O'Neill is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Seattle Mariners. He will get the day off, with Wilyer Abreu getting the start in right field. O'Neill is slashing .286/.375/.714 with a home run and a stolen base over eight plate appearances in 2024. The 28-year-old's next chance to return to the lineup will be Sunday for the series finale against the Mariners. Abreu was on the bench for Boston's first two games and will make his season debut on Saturday. The 24-year-old slashed .316/.388/.474 with two home runs, 14 RBI, 10 runs scored, and three stolen bases over 28 games in 2023. Abreu struggled mightily this spring, hitting .127 over 63 at-bats, and can be avoided as a streamer or in DFS for Saturday's slate in a tough matchup against Logan Gilbert.

Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Devers is dealing with left shoulder soreness and will miss his second consecutive game. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day, with the series finale on Sunday against Seattle being the next chance he can return to the lineup. Pablo Reyes will start at third base and bat eighth with Devers sidelined. Reys went 1-for-2 with a strikeout in Friday's 1-0 loss to the Mariners. Fantasy managers can avoid using Reyes as a streamer or a DFS option on Saturday's slate.

Abner Uribeearned his second save in two days for the Milwaukee Brewers. Uribe again got the ninth inning Saturday afternoon against the New York Mets and responded with the save despite surrendering a home run to sluggerPete Alonso. He allowed one run on one hit while striking out two in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Mets. With the back injury shelving top closerDevin Williams(back) for at least the next three months, the closer job was thought to be a competition amongTrevor Megill,Joel Payamps, and Uribe. On Friday, Megill got the heart of the Met's lineup, leaving the ninth inning to Uribe. Megill got the seventh inning again on Saturday and struck out three while surrendering two hits. In the coming weeks, this will be one to watch as all three pitchers are candidates for saves. At this time, Uribe has the upper hand and has handled the job well through the first three games of the 2024 season. Uribe has electric stuff and has elite fastball/sinker velocity to go with a nasty slider as well. Uribe is worth an add in leagues that value saves as long as he has the role.

San Diego Padres catcherLuis Campusanois out of the starting lineup for Saturday night's game against the San Francisco Giants.Kyle Higashiokagets the start behind the plate instead of Campusano, hitting .333 (6 hits in 18 at-bats) with two RBI on the season thus far. Campusano was considered a fantasy sleeper this year and will likely be back in the lineup for the series finale with the San Francisco Giants on Sunday afternoon. Campusano will get about 75% of the starts behind the plate for the Padres this year. He should be rostered in all leagues that require two catchers. Higashioka can be avoided in a tough matchup against Giants right-hander Jordan Hicks.

New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Houston Astros. Aaron Judge will be used as the team's primary designated hitter, while Trent Grisham will start in center field tonight against Houston. Look for manager Aaron Boone to mix and match his outfielders and to give Judge a day off from the grass to be the designated hitter. Grisham was acquired by the Yankees this offseason in the Juan Soto deal, and he signed a contract with the team for a one-year, $5.5 million to avoid arbitration. The 27-year-old will enter the Yankees' lineup for the first time this season. Fantasy managers can avoid using Grisham as a streamer or in DFS in a tough matchup against Houston's right-hander Hunter Brown.
