Athletics outfielder Brent Rooker came up clutch for his team during Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Rooker was quiet in this game until smacking a solo home run in the sixth inning to give his team the lead. The A's would hold onto the lead and take a 3-1 victory over Milwaukee. Rooker now has six homers on the season including two of them in his last three games. The veteran outfielder continues to be a must-start in all fantasy leagues.

Cincinnati Reds outfielder TJ Friedl was unstoppable at the plate during Saturday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. The O's pitchers had no answers as Friedl went 4-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a walk, and a steal in the loss. Friedl has been red-hot with eight hits over his last three games. He hasn't been a great fantasy option this season, but Friedl is now batting over .300 on the year. Fantasy managers seeking some production on offense might want to consider Friedl while he's on his hot streak. It's worth noting that Friedl has favorable matchups coming up against the Miami Marlins and Colorado Rockies.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Ramon Laureano came into Saturday's game after Heston Kjerstad (elbow) was forced to exit this contest. He wasted little time making an impact as he homered in the third inning off right-hander Hunter Greene. Laureano went deep again, smacking a 432-foot home run off Carson Spiers in the seventh inning. The 30-year-old hasn't done much as a part-time player this season. However, Laureano could see a bigger role going forward if Kjerstad is forced to miss time. Fantasy managers should stay tuned for update on Kjerstad's injury. Laureano might be able to offer some deep league value if he gets moved into the starting lineup.

Miami Marlins outfielder Griffin Conine (shoulder) exited early during Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Conine dislocated his left shoulder while sliding into second base. He was removed from the contest and Javier Sanoja took over in left field. The team has announced Conine suffered a dislocated left shoulder which almost certainly means he's headed to the injured list. The 27-year-old has been a decent bat for the Marlins this season. The expectation is that Sanoja and Dane Myers would see more playing time if Conine lands on the injured list.

Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani is expected to be activated off the paternity leave list ahead of Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers. Ohtani has missed the last two games while being away from the team due to the birth of his child. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on Saturday that he expects Ohtani back in the lineup for the series finale. Eddie Rosario has been serving as the designated hitter, but is likely going to be optioned back to Triple-A on Sunday. Fantasy managers should check back for another update on Sunday to confirm Ohtani is good to go.
