Athletics first baseman Tyler Soderstrom (calf) exited Tuesday's 10-4 win over the Padres early with right-calf tightness, per MLB.com's Martin Gallegos. The 23-year-old had a baserunner collide with his right leg while reaching for a high throw at first base earlier in the game, but he was able to stay in the game before being pinch-hit for by Max Schuemann in the eighth inning. Soderstrom went 1-for-3 with a single and a walk before exiting. He should be considered day-to-day until any further news comes out. Hopefully, the move was just precautionary, as Soderstrom has gotten off to a great start at the plate, slashing .378/.440/.822 with six home runs and 10 RBI in 50 plate appearances.

San Diego Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. (undisclosed) exited Tuesday's game against the Athletics in the bottom of the fifth inning. The 26-year-old took an uncomfortable-looking swing in the second inning, but it was not apparent what caused him to be substituted for in the field in the fifth. He went 0-for-2 with a walk before being replaced by Jason Heyward. Fantasy managers should look for further clarification after the game or on Wednesday. It would be a huge blow to the Padres if Tatis were to miss any time, as the team placed Jackson Merrill (hamstring) on the injured list earlier in the day with a hamstring injury, and Jake Cronenworth (undisclosed) also exited Tuesday's game early with an apparent injury.

Los Angeles Angels right-hander Kenley Jansen tossed a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday. Jansen made things interesting in the frame, working around two walks while notching two strikeouts, to earn his third save in as many chances in the early portion of the season. Overall, the veteran closer has yet to allow an earned run over five innings of work this year while striking out six. He will look to continue his strong start to the season for an Angels team that has been a pleasant surprise with a 7-3 record in the early going.

Atlanta Braves right-hander Raisel Iglesias got the final three outs of a 7-5 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday to earn his first save of the season. Iglesias worked around a walk to preserve the win over Philadelphia in what was his second save chance of the season. The veteran closer has now made three appearances for the Braves this year, posting a 3.00 ERA, 0-1 record, and three strikeouts over that span. The Braves are off to a surprisingly poor 2-8 start, which has not afforded Iglesias many save chances, but he should remain a solid closing option in fantasy moving forward.

Cleveland Guardians right-hander Emmanuel Clase picked up the win in his team's 1-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday. Clase pitched a scoreless ninth inning while striking out two and improved his record to 2-0 after Nolan Jones' walk-off walk in the bottom of the ninth. The veteran closer is off to a shaky start to the season, with a 5.40 ERA, no saves, and one blown save through five innings of work. That being said, it is too early to get concerned about a player who has been one of baseball's best closers over the past few seasons.
