New York Mets outfielder Tyrone Taylor had a big game in his team's 12-2 win over the New York Yankees on Wednesday. Taylor went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer, two runs, and a walk in the win over the Yankees. The 30-year-old is expected to see more playing time with Starling Marte (knee) sidelined and he certainly took advantage of that opportunity on Wednesday. Overall, Taylor is hitting .240 with three homers, 19 runs, 20 RBI, and six steals across 146 at-bats this season. If he can keep this up, Taylor is worth a look as a reserve in deeper fantasy leagues while Marte is out.

Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Jake Bauers had a huge game in his team's 6-5 win over the Texas Rangers in 10 innings on Wednesday. Bauers went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk to help power the Brewers to the win. The veteran first baseman gave the Brewers a 4-1 lead in the third inning with his grand slam, a monster shot that traveled 444 feet and had an exit velocity of 108 MPH. Overall, Bauers is hitting .219 with seven homers, 23 runs, 32 RBI, and seven steals across 169 at-bats for the Brewers this season.

Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Ryan Pepiot turned in an excellent start in his team's 5-2 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. Pepiot allowed one run on one hit over 5 1/3 innings of work while striking out eight and walking two. He wound up with a no-decision in the start as the Tampa bullpen coughed up four runs. Pepiot now has a 4-4 record, 4.40 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 83 strikeouts over 71 2/3 innings of work for the Rays in 2024. His next start is scheduled for Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals.

Arizona Diamondbacks infield prospect Deyvison De Los Santos was 2-for-4 with two homers and five RBI Wednesday for Triple-A Reno. De Los Santos is scorching hot in June with eight homers and 19 RBI this month while hitting .329. The 21-year-old crushed Double-A pitching to earn his promotion to Reno and has hit .320 at Triple-A with nine homers and 28 RBI. The Diamondbacks' No. 14 prospect is making a strong case for a spot on the big-league club with his recent performances. The Dominican can play first or third base giving him some potential flexibility with Arizona. The time might be now to scoop up De Los Santos ahead of a possible call-up.

Toronto Blue Jays top pitching prospect Ricky Tiedemann (elbow) had a successful rehab outing at Single-A Dunedin on Wednesday. Tiedemann pitched 2 1/3 hitless innings with two walks and five strikeouts. It was another good step for the Blue Jays' top overall prospect, who is progressing from an ulnar nerve injury. Tiedemann is one of the top pitching prospects in the minors and could be getting closer to a major league debut. The left-hander has a plus fastball-slider-changeup mix and once he demonstrates he is removed from his ulnar nerve scare, he could be ready to contribute for the Blue Jays. The 21-year-old is one to monitor closely during his rehab starts.
